Aaron Bishop

BOARD MEMBER

Aaron grew up in Nova Scotia and obtained his engineering degree from Dalhousie University. He is currently the CEO at Thompson Construction Group.

Aaron and his wife, Genevieve, have 5 boys and have been an active hockey family for many years. He has been involved with the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am Tournament since 2022 as a player and in 2023 became a member of the Tournament Committee. Aaron cherishes quality time with his family, enjoys sailing, and actively participates in hockey and soccer (playing and coaching his sons).

This cause holds deep significance for Aaron, as he has personally witnessed the profound and heart-breaking impact of the Alzheimer’s disease. Both of his grandmothers were affected by it, and he spent a considerable amount of time caring for one of them during her battle. Through these personal experiences, Aaron has developed a strong commitment to raise awareness and support for those impacted by the disease.

Aaron became a member of the Gordie Howe CARES Board in the fall of 2025 and is excited to join the rest of the team and contribute to this great cause.
