CAPS is a collaborative service delivered by Gordie Howe CARES, Alberta Neurologic Centre (ANC), and Vytality at Home.
The CAPS program aims to offer tailored support, navigation, and interventions for those affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias.
The CAPS program includes:
Caregiver Support & Resource Navigation
Personalized Therapy to reduce caregiver burden, provide a deeper understanding of Dementia, and deliver customized resource navigation. Support is available individually or in group settings at convenient locations.
Private Homecare Support
Three hours of Homecare services from Vytality at Home, focused on caring for your loved one while you participate in the CAPS program—ensuring peace of mind.
Cognitive Engagement
Engaging individuals diagnosed with early Alzheimer’s or dementia in targeted cognitive, physical, and educational activities to improve quality of life and maintain cognitive function.
